Job Description

As Production Developer for COS Atelier, you are collaborating with COS Atelier team and suppliers directly to secure Atelier product quality with highest quality standard. 

The job

As Production Developer for COS Atelier, you are collaborating with COS Atelier team and suppliers directly to secure Atelier product quality with highest quality standard. 

You are working on site with specially selected suppliers secure Atelier product with highest quality in bulk production by providing technical production support for suppliers and developing and unleashing suppliers’ strengths.

You are supporting to secure grading and the perfect fit in size set stage as well as finding solutions of taking sample into bulk production (considering production friendliness etc).

You would also contribute to overview the production plan and on-time delivery.

 

 

The team

You are collaborating with relevant functions in buying office (BO), production office (PO) and suppliers, contributing to an efficient and informative workflow.

You are working on supplier site on regular base to secure Atelier product quality.

You are working closely with Atelier Pattern Cutters to secure grading and fitting.

You are reporting to Atelier Production & Sourcing Lead in BO in London with dotted line report to Global Merchandising Manager in Production office,  to secure end to end Atelier product quality.

The approach

To secure Atelier product with highest quality & making standard from end to end, you join the Atelier collections pre-strategy meetings and COS Buying and Design team’s development week on-site at suppliers to understand collection and customer expectation from start. You lead early Production Risk assessment, drive pre-production meeting with supplier and active in bulk production stage e.g. by performing inline and final inspections.

When needed, you support in supplier sample room to secure grading and the perfect fit in size set stage, initiated video fitting session with pattern cutter, evaluate risks of bulk production and find solutions of taking sample into bulk production.

With the mindset of securing product delivered on time end-to-end, you are contributing to overview the production plan and on-time delivery by on-site status check with suppliers and raise up if any risk of shipment delays.

Qualifications

As a Production Developer, you take ownership with product timeline end-to-end mindset, and deliver on the areas you have ownership for. You have good understanding on supplier production support to secure Atelier product quality.

You are a Curious Learner, equipped with extensive technical and operational production knowledge, covering diverse ready-to-wear product types and always open to learn more. Along with a good level of knowledge and understanding in sampling process (fit, grading, pattern construction etc), you have the ability to develop the supplier capability and unleash their potential with a desire to explore new opportunities.

You are a Change Maker, with good market knowledge and the ability, preferably with experience in luxury fashion or premium quality, to seek out further opportunities that could strengthen our customer offer.  Eagering to try new ways and seeing change potential with a ‘my company mindset’.

You are a Passionate Collaborator, working hand in hand with COS Atelier team and suppliers to deliver products of highest COS quality. You build strong trust with our suppliers to be able to collaborate and give and receive relevant feedback or take relevant actions. You take ownership with product timeline end-to-end mindset and deliver on the areas you have ownership for. You have good project management experience.

You are an Inspiring Communicator, with strong verbal and written communication skill in English and preferably local language. You have the courage to speak up and can adapt you communication to different situations.
