Scania Awarded 2026 Swedcham Honorary Award
Shanghai, May 29, 2026, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China has the honor to announce that Scania has been awarded the 2026 SwedCham Honorary Award in recognition of its bold and outstanding industrial project in Rugao.
The award was officially presented during the SwedCham Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026, held at the Edition Hotel in Shanghai, in front of SwedCham members and representatives from the business community.

As the chamber’s highest decision-making body, the AGM plays a vital role in shaping the future of SwedCham China, enabling members to exercise their voting rights, strengthen stakeholder relations, and foster meaningful connections across the Swedish-Chinese business community.
Award Motivation
The 2026 SwedCham Honorary Award was presented to Scania in recognition of its bold and impactful industrial project in Rugao. The award was presented on behalf of the Main Board of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China by Chairwoman Elisabeth Lindström-Dupuy.
