From December 21st to 23rd, nine Volvo Group sustainability ambassadors and employee volunteers from Beijing, Shanghai, and Jinan journeyed to Volvo Hope School in Jianshui, Yunnan Province. The group brought STEM courses as well as books to the students in the school.

Back in September 2022, Volvo Car China launched an online volunteer teaching program for our employees. Working with the well-established local NGO platform “Volunteer online project 2.0”, the program recruited a select group of our employees to teach children who live in rural, underprivileged areas lacking access to quality education.

Trademark registration plays a vital role in securing trademark protection in China. Over 7 million trademark applications were submitted for registration in China in 2022 according to an official report from China's Trademark Office ("CTMO"). As of the end of 2022, the total number of registered trademarks in China exceeded 42 million.
