The Swedish Government has announced that the new Consul General of Sweden in Shanghai will be Marie-Claire Swärd Capra.
Marie-Claire Swärd Capra is currently the Ambassador in Algiers. She has previously been in the Council of Ministers at the OECD-delegation in Paris and has also served at the embassies in Seoul and Copenhagen, at the representation of Genève as Sweden’s permanent representative in WTO as well as at the EU Commission in Brussels, among others.
Marie-Claire Swärd Capra will assume her new role on the 1st of September, 2020.
As part of Team Sweden, The Swedish Chamber of Commerce and the Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai work closely, and the Chamber warmly welcomes Marie-Claire to China and looks forward to continuing to work together!
