Ericsson is growing! We are now looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager(SSM)to strengthen Ericsson’s strong position by maximizing supplier value, proactively managing business risks and chipping in to the creation of value for the Customer.
The SSM is accountable for evaluating, qualifying and selecting suppliers for the external purchase and licensing of all products and services:
- to be delivered to Customers as part of or as an Ericsson product or service and
- for internal use within Ericsson.
What you will do
- Be responsible and the SPOC for the commercial relationship with logistics suppliers in MNEA
- Ensure close cooperation to the region for excellent support and deep understanding of market requirements and drivers
- Secure best commercials for services and solutions at all times
- Secure a Supplier base that supports Ericsson’s current and future need
- Handle all questions and activities related to the Supplier base within your geographic responsibility
- Ensure implementation of Category work
You will bring
- Rich experience of services sourcing and knowledge from logistics industry
- Strong commercial acumen and skills
- Ability to solve problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Strong motivation to learn and constantly improve processes
- Good people skills required to work with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Background in contract drafting and related legal matter
- Local laws & Regulation knowledge
