Position Title: E-MOB (electric excavator) Assembly Engineer
Reports To: E-MOB project leader / ME manager
Job Summary:
The main responsibilities are to support E-MOB project leader in E-MOB production
process preparation and early involvement in product development with consideration of
safety, quality, and efficiency. He/she can get self-fulfilment & make a great contribution to
company management through optimization of new product development process,
assembly line & production system improvement and support team’s competence shift
toward factory for tomorrow.
Job Content:
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:
– New Product development : follow New Product development process
· General project planning and management
· Early involvement in DFX (manufacturing requirement etc. )
· Process & Layout planning referring to Lean & Industry 4.0 direction
· Assembly process & equipment development
· Routine, BOM, work instruction etc. setup
· Proto, pilot to SoP preparation and issues solving
· Parts development support
· EMOB production safety procedure setup
· Tech. support for EMOB product trouble shooting
– Other work assigned by supervisor
Interaction and Supervisory responsibility
– Internal: Production, Quality, Material management, Production planning, Advanced line Control, Finance, Quality environment safety department, Purchasing team, Research & Development
– External: Industrial manufacturing companies and equipment companies to introduce production equipment and new technology.
Key Skills:
– Good character & high competence
– Excellent problem solving ability in the process of production activities
– Experience and knowledge on project management & NPD
– Experience and knowledge on Lean & industry 4.0
– Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
– Good computer skills, 3-D, 2-D CAD and Ms-office knowledge
– EMOB product/ production knowledge
Required knowledge & experience:
1. Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
· university degree or above, major in electric engineering
· Business oriented person with at least 5 years experience in manufacturing industry
· With experience in R&D is preferred
· Sound English skills both written and spoken
