Happy International Women’s Day!

In the afternoon of March 5, SwedCham China and Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong co-organised an inspiring and popular webinar on: She-Economy: Women who lead. The webinar was a great success with over 50 participants, 40+ companies from different industries joining worldwide.

The purpose of this webinar was to share experiences and inspire women to become leaders and to believe in their leadership skills

During the panel session interesting topics on work-life balance, power of execution in daily life, gender balance in the workforce, benefits for men supporting women in their professions, working life during COVID-19 were discussed.

The main take away:

  • Focusing on the most important things
  • Daily execution power is key of good time management
  • Courage and early career aspiration needed
  • Asking help from other and learning from them
  • Don’t be afraid of facing challenges and looking for advises from mentors
  • Taking risks and believing in yourself

And also thank you to our co-promoting partners’ LeanInChina and University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business China Office for supplying two encouraging scholarships of their global Leadership Executive MBA program to our attendees!
