This Monday our new intern Louise started at the Beijing office, we asked her for a short introduction so that you can get to know her little bit more.
Hi everyone! I’m Louise; the new intern at SwedCham Beijing and you’ll find me here for the next 6 months. I’m 27 years old, born and raised in Gothenburg, but have spent some of the last years working in Norway.
Back home I’m studying business administration and my plan is to have my bachelor done at the end of this year, majoring in marketing. This internship is me taking a break from the student life before that last semester to get some experience that can be beneficial in my field of studies.
The first time when I was in China I was here while backpacking a few years ago. I found both the city and country fascinating and I new that I someday would want to come back. Well, here I am!
The reason why I want to do an internship with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China is first of all because i find it to be a very interesting organisation that I want to learn more about. I hope that my time here as an intern will be beneficial for both the Chamber and I. I believe that I can support the Chamber with new energy and ideas in their projects, events and the 20 years’ anniversary.
While being here I’m looking forward to meeting a lot of interesting people and professionals, and maybe even find a way to stay put here in Beijing, because so far it feels like this city is all I need and a little bit more.
And if we’re being honest here one of my biggest excitements about being here in Beijing is also all the fantastic food I will have the opportunity to eat!
